I'm looking for a creamy off white/ivory cottage coffee and end tables. I can only find them in white and even the ones that say antique white, they still seem to be very white.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Have you tried antique shops, thrift stores or garage sales? I love finding a piece that may have the general design that I am looking for, taking it home and making it mine with a coat of paint and distressing, stain or taking it apart and redesign it into something entirely different.
My husband does this and has such a ball! We have a website that may give you a few ideas... www.countrycottagechic.com (http://www.countrycottagechic.com) Most things we sell, Doug designs and builds himself. Although, he will take an existing piece and incorporate it into his designs.
Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

I second that opinion, lol...I would find your own tables and paint it the color you like. I found a shade of antique white (a historic color) that I love called Homestead Resort Parlor Taupe. I recently painted an old $25 that shade (below). It's so much fun to have mismatched tables with character and your own special touch, too.

I would also like to suggest painting it yourself. That way you have the exact shade you desire and you can paint other items to match if you wish.

I make coffee tables out of old windows and doors. I can paint it any color you want! My favorite is creamy white. www.abitofparis.com is my site. Let me know if you are interested! Be sure to remind me of this post!
Tootle loo for now. Jen
