Sorry ya'll but posting pics was aggravating. I didn't realize you were so limited. How come. I deleted pics in an attempt to respond to a different thread. I wanted to respond to people and share, but couldn't because I was so limited. Am I doing something wrong?

I didn't mean pic size---I can re-size them. I mean amt. of pics to show:confused: .

I posted this in the flower thread also, maybe it will help...
I'm not sure if there is an easier way but I download my pics to a free site like shutterfly.com. Once its there I right click on the picture and choose "Properties". I then highlight the web address and use Ctrl and the letter C to copy the information.
When I am on posting page of this site I hit the little icon above the message area in the tool bar that looks like a square withe a couple of mountains and a sun in it. This will bring up a user prompt that will ask for a url. Go to that box and hit Ctrl and V. This will paste the information in, then click OK. This should insert the picture.
It sounds more complicated than it is. Can't wait to see the pics!

I've added the ability to attach up to 6 images per posting.

Okay, well I've tried everything to post pictures! I re-size my pictures into Infaview and then try to upload them and I get a blank white screen. Tried 2 times. I post all the time to Garden Guides that is the exact same format. Help! Thanks in advance.

I'm going to rework the picture posting process just a bit to hopefully make it easier. The file size on many of the newer digital cameras is so large that they are taking up an entire screen. I'll work on automating a downsizing proccess.

Hello everyone!
I have been admiring everyone's pics and ideas now for awhile and decided it was time for me to register and post something (or try)
We live in Kansas and have a small traditional home that was built in the 50's. It has great hardwood floors and is a great little house and we have tried to make it cottage style.
We are currently trying to find an architect and get going on our dreams of a big porch and family room addition.
I would love to post pics of how our house looks currently-my dad made us some window boxes with picket fences that we just love. They are unusal and unique and fun to change seasonally. When we put on our future porch we will have them installed on the porch to enjoy them as we are enjoying our new porch (can you tell I am soooo excited to have a porch?)
Anyone with any tips on picture posting would be much appreciated! Thanks and look forward to sharing ideas!:D

Well, I've tried & tired to post pictures. I use Infraview and I can't get my picture small enough to post here. I'm so bummed! I sure wish I could share my pictures with you all but oh well!

To post pics I used yahoo picture center (it's free) I heard there are many free centers to upload your pictures onto.
Then after you upload them it will give you an address to share pics, make sure you set the settings on public, so all of us in the community can see them. If you want them to be private you set it on private and i think you have to enter a password.
my address for 2 pics i uploaded is
http://photos.yahoo.com/villasmil@sbcglobal.net
Hope this helps. It is tricky, but once you figure it out it is easy. I had such a tough time, like tried 5 times before it worked.
Good luck, email if you have any questions!

Our image server isn't feeling well and will be down for just a bit. You will not be able to attach photos until we get the problem fixed. However 3rd party services such at flickr still work just fine.
