Hi all. I am looking to buy a nice looking dust ruffle, not real expensive, white, for a double-sized bed.

Thank you in advance.

I would check out Goodwill. Second hand places usually carry bedskirts by the loads. If I can't find something at Goodwill, I make my own dust ruffles. The easiest way is to use an old one as the base, and add the fabric that you want to the top of the old. I'm a horrible seamstress, but I make a mean bedskirt ~ easy!

I agree with Lisa's idea about looking at thrift stores. Mine is full of dust ruffles!

Hi. I'm new to the posting thing, but read these all the time. Hope I'm doing this right.

try a king-sized, inexpensive (low thread-count) white sheet. Put it between the mattress and boxspring... with the corners pinned for pleating and appropriate length.
