Just took this pic and thought I'd share it with you. These Fairy Slippers (Calypso bulbosa) grow wild here - so pretty!

Those are so beautiful. I'm taking the day off work to finish up some gardening. Hopefully I'll have some pictures to add.

Our hydrangeas (Hydrangea macrophylla) here in Alabama are going blooming crazy. Even some of our native Oakleaf hydrangeas have toppped out at over 7 feet tall. The second pic is a tall phlox (Phlox paniculata hybrid) that's tough as nails in my garden.

Hi Nicole - I would love to see what you've planted!
Hi Rex - Beautiful! Have you ever visited the Vintage Gardens (http://www.vintagegardens.com/) website? They sell the most amazing variety of roses and hydrangeas I've ever seen.
Does anyone else have pics to share?
:)

Nicole,
Is that your pink house with the beautiful white fence? Everything looks so well kept! :)

Zuzu-
Thanks, I love the Foxglove too. I have a couple of different colors, but I think the white is the prettiest.
Lisa- Yep, the pink house is mine (I actually live in the coachhouse now, and work out of the 2nd floor). DH and my father built the fence a couple of years ago. Before that the rosebush was red and performed ok, since then I have white and red flowers and it seems to be growing by the minute.

I especially appreciate the "well kept" comment. I try to make it look nice from the street. Most of the yard is actually pea gravel for the dog that lives there.
Jilliebean - I've been a bit shutter happy lately. I guess that's what happens when the weather is so horrible, and everything is so ugly for 8 months out of the year :)

My camera is a 3 year old Canon Power Shot. When I get a new one I want to buy the updated version. Its easy to use and takes great pictures.

I'm a bit partial to native blooms, but I had to show off this tropic Hibiscus in full bloom. Winter freeze will kill them back, but they sure put on a good summer show.

Such beautiful flowers and the pink on the siding is very attractive. I thought ya'll might like to see a blue Rose of Sharon. It's called Blue Satin and is a Proven Winners Plant. Well I tired to upload it and couldn't. Not sure why? Sorry.

Anna-
See if this helps...
I'm not sure if there is an easier way but I download my pics to a free site like shutterfly.com. Once its there I right click on the picture and choose "Properties". I then highlight the web address and use Ctrl and the letter C to copy the information.
When I am on posting page of this site I hit the little icon above the message area in the tool bar that looks like a square withe a couple of mountains and a sun in it. This will bring up a user prompt that will ask for a url. Go to that box and hit Ctrl and V. This will paste the information in, then click OK. This should insert the picture.
It sounds more complicated than it is. Can't wait to see the pics.

Flower, Make sure you size the pictures down from the original to about 2-3 inches wide and no more than about 4 inches deep. If you continue to have problems, just e-mail the picture to me and I'll check the size for you.

I go to another forum and to post pictures I go to Infraview and put my picutres into a file that sizes them smaller and then post to the forum. Maybe you folks might want to check it out.
