I wondered why you chose that name. Now we know. Your cottage garden sounds lovely! The little birds and animals that pop by for a visit are such a wonderful treat. My husband has a yellow truck, and the hummingbirds think it's a giant flower. :)

Hi Everyone! I agree--there are many fun and interesting user names and I think it's fun to find out how everyone came up with theirs. Mine isn't fun or interesting, or even very original. Just a nickname I've had for years. Can't even remember how it originated. :confused:

My user name reflects my passion as well. I love to sew, mostly quilts, but occasionally clothes, bags and such. One day at a craft show I kept hearing the phrase "that's so cute" and it just sort of popped into my head to use use the word sew instead. I found out later, I'm not that original, lots of people use it. But it's still me. :D

My last name really is Blessing so that's why I chose blessingshappen. That, and I truly do believe blessings occur often. I admire all of you for having home based businesses and your creative endeavors. I bought a purse from Sommers designs and have checked out all the other websites as I see them on these forums. I think Cottage Living should have a one year reunion for it's web correspondents so we can all meet each other plus meet the mag's staff, a Cottage convention. Could be fun. :)

I had to look that one up. I had never heard for a Red Fronted Macaw. I read that they can live to 30 years!!! and...they are masters of disassembling their cages. I would love to see a picture of Frisco if you can post one. They look like they are a bright green and orange/red.
