I am new to this wonderful cottage forum (and forum posting!) and wanted to introduce myself and my cottage business. If you already know you love cottage style, I can help you artfully bring out your own particular brand of cottage style in your home. My trademark is doing cottage style on a dollarwise budget; in other words I love "faux-expensive" vs. "so-expensive" decorating... using flea market finds etc. but having it look fabulous rather than cheap. I love to help people bring out their own creative flair they might not have realized they have!

To help you with your decorating dilemmas, I offer a free monthly (full-color photographs) e-newsletter filled with decorating tips and resources, including a tips section from my "Cottage Cats," Beau & Monique! I personally live in a beach cottage near the blue Pacific in Cardiff by-the-Sea, CA. My own cottage is featured on my "Kathryn's Cottage" page on my website. From a design perspective, I work via email and phone so geography is not an issue. As a professional hands-on organizer for 7 years before taking my decorating training, I also help people with decluttering solutions and tips. I recently finished my new e-book, "Moving With Ease" which is a downloadable checklist type guide for avoiding the stress and clutter of moving a household and family and is available for purchase also on my website on my Dollarwise Products page.


I am finishing my next e-book on cottage style to be released for sale in the next month or so on my website. I also write articles on cottage style for the internet which appear on many decorating websites as well as on ezinearticles.com.
