Anyone visited this area recently? Favorite restaurants or activities? My family is heading down for a week in June...

I grew up spending summers at my grandparents beach house at Litchfield--back when it was just "Litchfield Beach", but have such great memories. We visited a couple of years ago and hit some of my favorite spots. Don't know what type activities you're interested in, but a couple of my favorites are:

Oliver's Lodge at Murrell's Inlet--simply the best seafood and "low country cooking"

Brookgreen Gardens--always a must visit for me

Pawley's Island Hammock shop

My grandmother was always into the local legends and ghost stories, so we spent a lot of our time visiting the local "haunts". It was great fun and we learned a lot of SC history that way.
