Comfort Foods!

I thought it might be fun to discuss some of our favorite comfort foods:)

Though I haven't made it in quite a while, my family loves my homemade tomato soup (with grilled cheese sandwiches, of course!). Another favorite is homemade potato soup with chives and bacon....yummm! Especially delicious on cold or rainy days! Just warms the soul through and through!

Baked potatoes are a favorite around here. Each of us gets to put our favorite toppings on and make it special. Coffee and cinnamon rolls are a must every Sunday, too!

Soup of any kind is a great comfort and top on my list. Add to that some homemade bread... Yum!

Homemade soups are always great for comfort foods!
I like homemade bread, or rolls.
Homemade chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, and peanut cookies! Yummy!
I also like mash potatoes, and ovenbaked "fried" chicken.
Roast beef slices, bluecheese crumbles, lettus, and tomato,on crusty bread is also yummy! :)

Chicken pot pies, fresh baked bread, tacos, any goodies that I bake. Need to make something, haven't done anything in awhile and I've got the urge. :) Maybe I can make something tomorrow since I don't have to work.

In summer, my favourite comfort foods are tomato sandwiches with perfectly ripe tomatoes picked up from a roadside stand (or my garden later in the summer). Toasted or not, mayo or not, it doesn't matter. I also love corn on the cob and fresh raspberries and strawberries.

In winter, I love stew and a nice crusty piece of bread.
