Anyone planning something special for Memorial Day? I'd like to hear your menus and plans since I'm not planning anything for that special day.

Whatever my darling 3 yr old daughter wants. It's mommy and daughter weekend (daddy is AWOL). She loves lobster/crablegs (weird child but takes after me) so I might let her get all dressed up and take her favourite seafood place.

Isn't 3 a fun age! I have a DS who just turned 3 last weekend. We will probably head to the pool at our country club (the name is a lot grander than the actual building!). The club usually has chickens and barbecue on the grill with all the fixin's!

Shish Kabobs, corn on the cob, baked beans, and Waldrof salad sounds good at this point in time. And swimming, hopefully!

3 year olds are such fun. Our DGD was 3 in March! Oh, can she talk! So much fun! Love the singing she does to us on the phone, too.

Beer can chicken on the grill.
Corn on the cob roasted slowly on the grill.
Cherry coke salad.
Watemelon.
Three year olds are great!
And it just keeps getting better with each year!
I have two four year old granddaughters, and two, 7 1/2 month old, granddaughter and a grandson.
It's GREAT when I have them all here together! :)
