I read the book and loved it! I can't wait to see this movie. Anyone else planning to go see it?

I sure hope to! The inlaws are in from Idaho for the weekend. I'm gonna hit them up for BBSitting on Saturday. The book was good, huh? I stayed up for two nights to finish it!

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown was good too. Makes you wonder! I really enjoy those kinds of books and that keep you guessing but have some historical references.

I've just recently become interested in reading/seeing it. I've just caught on to what it's about and it sounds thought provoking.

It really will make you think - whatever your beliefs may be.

What's the book about?
I don't have a TV, so I haven't heard about it.

McKenzie Girl ~ Good for you on no TV!!! I'm trying to get my husband to come on board with 'getting rid of our tvs', but he's leaning more towards the 'getting a big screen' direction.

The DiVinci Code is a thriller that begins with a murder. The clues of the murder lead the hero down a path of decoding religious symbolism to find the Holy Grail. It's very mixed with fact and fiction... well written and action packed.

I got rid of my TV 3 years ago and won't be going back to owning one again!

Yep! We really don't have Public, cable or satilite.
We have TV's to watch DVDs and VHS movies.
That's it! :)
We do have the internet, but I mainly use it to go on forums like this one.

Mostly, I'm too busy taking care of my grandbabies, or painting, sewing, cooking or baking.
I hardly am able to get "on line"!
If you can tell It's been awhile since I've been here. :o

You girls are good. I just know our quality of life would be much better if we ditched those mind suckers. Truthfully, we don't watch much... just a couple of shows durning the week and about an hour of mild cartoons on the weekend. Still... there is something about how the fast pace and the ads of the stuff on tv that changes the way the world is viewed...

By the way: Divinci Code was so/so.
