It's by Ralph Lauren. Behr makes it too, and calls it Sand Wash Paint. I really like the sand-textured look, but I've heard it's difficult to apply. I've read where some people have had to use 3-4 coats, which is pricey at $35/gallon, eek!
I would like to try it in the living room of our beach cottage, and I was wondering if anyone here has tried it?

at that type of paint but not been brave enough to use it. I'm thinking that my son and daugher-in-law have so I will ask them their opinion.

suede Ralph Lauren paint. It took some time, but wasn't difficult. The first coat looks terrible, but once the second coat is applied it looked great--very much like suede. I'm assuming the river rock paint would achieve similar results. Are your walls heavily textured? I don't think you would get the same effect with a textured wall. Also, the durability and washability is questionable.

Hi Merry, I tried it and loved it. I've had it in my family room for about 5 years now. The first coat looked pink and my husband almost had a heart attack. By the second coat it looked great. It’s not at all difficult to apply. We have a wall of stone surrounding our fireplace and it really complimented the whole room. It has a nice depth and richness to it. With two children, I was afraid of fingerprints, marks, etc., but it was surprisingly easy to spot clean.
