Outdoor Cottage Furniture

What style of outdoor furniture do you like? Upholstered pieces, aluminum, wrought iron, wood, wicker? What style? What colours? I'm starting to get the itch to plan my backyard projects for the spring and I've been thinking about furniture.

I hear that, Jellie! I prefer simple wooden furniture and I love the twig furniture but don't have any. Most of mine is prim pieces that just get more and more peely with time! I'm afraid anything that wasnt rustic, would make my house look too bad....LOL! Its kind of prim too at the moment!

I have all different kinds. I have Lloyd Flanders outdoor wicker with upholstered cushions, wrought iron, and teak. The fabrics on all of these eventually fade.. so keep that in mind depending on where you live. I live in Texas so the summers are harsh on the fabrics. If they are under shelter, that would be good. I ended up spending almost $600 to buy new cushions for my wicker. I love them all and I love not having the same of one style or pattern. I have wrought iron around the table, teak in front of the pool. Have fun with it!
