Hello again to all. I've been thinking about putting the wainscotting in the bathroom at about 3/4 the way up the wall. That will leave me with pieces of wood about 1 1/2 - 2 ft long. Have you ever seen something like that used as a trim(?) around the top of a room? If I can find a use for something I will and I have a spare room that I am going to work on next and I thought maybe I could use these board around the top of the room and put a nice trim under it. Can you get the idea of what I am trying to describe? Sort of reversing and using plain wall on the bottom part of the room and wainscotting at the top. Do you think this is a workable idea? Thanks for any feedback.

I know what you mean about finding uses for things leftover from projects. I never throw anything away. Never know when (or where) I might be able to use them!

I've seen something similar done in a room that has a high ceiling. They didn't use wainscotting, just added a decorative trim several inches below the crown moulding and painted the wall a different color between the two. Looks great!
