It has been 5 years now since I have been self employed. I too started out with only building things for myself. But, friends loved what I was making so they bought things from me. I started selling at Antique & Art Shows. I sold on ebay and then built my website. Now I have regular wholesale accounts all over the US and also sell retail on my website. I absolutly love what I do. I live in a small town near Pigeon Forge TN. I have wonderful supportive friends here. I wouldn't trade it for anything. www.abitofparis.com
I love your new magazine. I hope to see it for many years to come.

You definitely did it with your site. It sparkles. :)

I'm Patina Preserves in the real world; my husband is Pristine Precision. I over shadow him as much as possible. In here he doesn't even exist. It's just my house - his home. ;) While I whitewash over he sands; I clutter, he declutters. We are both shabby souls though. We try to follow 'Devine Design'. Teeter to Peter. Askew to Matthew. Be - Atitude is everything!

Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Jen. I thought I recognized you. :)

I can definately attest to her talent(s) because I have purchased things from abitofparis before and she definately has what it takes! Unfortunately, I don't have a talent for making things, but I feel that I DO have good taste - just have to pay for other people to get me what I want!

Jen's post was made on 09-19-2004. I met her here - she's very nice and has a great shop.

I had not responded to this post because it seemed to be a sneaky way for rimmy to spam about 'Make Money Online'.

But, instead, it is bringing more visitors to Jen's shop!

:)

Sorry, I didn't notice it either. I wasn't even focusing on the other post I guess because I recognized who Jen was from her post!
