When I look for cottage furnishings, I enter broad search terms like "vintage furniture" or "cottage furniture". I usually don't enter the word "antique" because that will take me to websites with $8,000 vases. I also search under specific terms like "vintage wicker", "hoosier cabinets" or "duncan phyfe side table". Oh yeah, sometime I search for the year, like "1930s table".

My hubby's mother, aunt, and grandmother are all Indiana girls who love a good flea market, and they can shop all day. They talk about "flea markets", "knick knacks", "collectibles" and "antique malls".

I know your store is neither an antique mall nor a flea market, but I think it would be safe to use those terms. When my in-laws and I are bargain hunting, we don't care what the store is called, as long as there is a lot of merchandise.

Your store looks awesome! How close is Rochester to Evansville?

Hi,
Some keywords,
Decorating with toile, Rooster decor, roosters, .
This old house, old house, log cabin (TON of hits)

Put in words of items you actually sell with vintage in front-- For instance we sell seed packets on tiles-- so I have vintage seed packets as my key word.
