Scam alert

I had a message on my voicemail today from a young lady who said she wanted to ask about something she saw on my website. Nothing unusual there. She asked me to call her at work and gave me a phone number and extension. When I dialed the number (a long distance charge for me, thank you VERY much!) a machine answered and said it was the "Internet Advertising" company. So as not to spend even more money berating these people for making ME spend money for them to hit me with a sales pitch, I decided to email instead. I put their phone number into Google thinking I would find their website. I did not, but I did find some complaints and also some really shady looking posts they've made pushing their services in public discussion forums. Not someone I would want to do business with.

So if you get a message about "something I saw on your website" and the number they leave is 866-831-5758, don't spend money calling them back.
