Did you all have a nice weekend? Tell us what you did!

The last of our friends left last night. I swear if I never eat another piece of junk food, it'll be too soon.

We had friends over for our annual party on the 4th. Another set of friends drove down from Seattle on the 5th. Tents were pitched in the yard and kids were having fun. Lots of ribs and hot dogs were eaten. Yesterday, we went to the rodeo (not on my list of usual things to do, but a whole lot of fun!). We had dinner at a rural country club (a country-country club? :)) where we were treated to one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. All the friends said a two hour goodbye in the parking lot with promises to get together a few times over the summer. Life is too short.

Lisa~ Sounds like you had a great weekend~ family, friends, junk food~ what could be better? :D

We went to our beach house, quiet mostly~ did see the fireworks on Saturday down at the water. It's nice because it's a block away...also took the dogs down to the water. Geez...I have a lab that doesn't love the water! Also saw some family & friends who live nearby...for food it was crabs, b-que, etc... yum.;)

my july 4th wknd was fast and furious but a whole lot of fun! some friends and us went to my hometown thursday night. Friday morning we had a lingerie shower for my sister. it was an outdoor garden party - really fun! After that we had to go out to the wedding site and help set up tents and sound equipment. We only had about 45 minutes to get ready for the rehearsal and dinner to follow. Saturday the wedding was at 3:30 pm (temp was about 95 i think!) which went really well and was beautiful!! then the reception with a dinner/dance to follow. we didn't get to my parents' house til 1 am that night, then went to church yesterday morning and came home after lunch. whew!! I'm so happy for my sister and her new husband - they are perfect for each other!

I'll post a link to my pics when I get them online!
