Well, I didn't know where else to post this website because it's not exactly cottage, but the topic has been covered by CL in the past.

I discovered Arts and Crafts Home while looking for kitchen ideas. In addition to selling Arts and Crafts furniture, tiles, etc., it has several photos of Arts and Crafts rooms, both antique and modern reproductions. There are also links to similar websites with Art Nouveau and Mission style themes.

I checked that web site and I love it. One of my pet peeves are these huge houses that they build now. Especially in Maine where we have our cottage they are tearing down many of these small houses and putting McMansions on the same spot. Totally unnecessay and unfortunate. The house I live in full time is on the small side and I used to think it was too small when I had small kids and the place was full of their friends. But I loved the house and I have wonderful neighbors so we never thought of moving. Recently one of my son's friends who used to be over the house all the time told me how much he used to love coming over because it was such a warm and inviting place and I think the scale of the hosue had a lot to do with that feeling. I hope we get back into building Not So Big Houses.
