Okay, so much of what we have been posting on is about the holidays. I told my granddaughter, Grace last week that my favorite thing to do is spend time with her (and the other grandkids). We all seem to have this love of family and pets so I am inviting you to share your family with all of us. That means not just blood relatives, but the friends you consider family (a picture of you with your friend would be nice) and your pets.
So here is Grace, who turns 7 tomorrow with Lucy. Grace and her brother, Eli got these chairs from Santa last year and Lucy prefers Grace's (it's a girl thing!) and often will cuddle with Grace in her chair.

This isn't exactly about my pets, but I thought dog lovers would enjoy this photo that I took at work last weekend...
These dogs love to run, and are well-cared for. There are usually eight on a team, and I was surprised how close the bond between the dogs and the mushers seem to be. They really know their animals and call encouragement to them. And they're quiet! All you hear is the swishing of the sled runners on the snow.

Maria, Your picture is gone. Deb, yours is fantastic! I wanna go.
Here's a family picture that I want to share. I'm on the far right in the red shirt with my daughter on my lap. I'm sitting on my sister-in-law's lap. My eldest son is on the far left. In between are nephews, a niece, my little brother's wife. This was taken on our lastest trip to DC. We all showing our personally created "gang" hand signal. Okay, they're all crazy. There's nothing like family!

Yes, it was from my visit. In fact, I think it was the same day I came to see you. I need to find that picture of you and I... I'll look right now.

Here we go! I thought it would be harder to copy a picture from an email and was waiting for Dan's help. I did it myself and it was easy. Sorry it took so long.
Here are Gigi and I at her lovely, lovely house in Maryland.

What great pictures. I love those dogs!! I think that would be an awesome sport to participate in.
Looks like you and your family were having a great time, Lisa. What an adorable pic of you and gigi! I'm so glad you two got to meet!

How fun to see the two of you together - an inspiration for all of us to try and meet a buddy or two. Anyone here in the Las Vegas area? Our family will be headed there the end of March. Wanted to go to our usual family vacation spot in Mexico but we all just thought the airfare was outrageous this year. Found a great house (3,800 sf - sleeps 12) in Vegas. Never thought I'd go to Vegas and take grandkids but there is really a lot to do there.
So if we have any Vegas buddies, I'd love to hook up.
