the thing so many customers seem to be reacting to this year is the beauty of recycling as in making a peice of used furniture into something atractive and useful....and also they like the idea of turning parts into something useful.....like when we use old doors, windows or shutters for big parts of our made up furniture.....and really they are getting good solid wood from the past instead of cheap particle board like so much of the modern stuff.....

recycling and trash to treasure is kind of the wave the world is trying to be on now..
so im trying to focus a bit more on that angle on my web and in my newsletters...no real firm plans yet...any ideas appreciated!!!!

. and of course all this just comes natural to my cottage /innovative/fun /outside the box type customers....

Our family has recycled many items from old homes. We were able to get some very old slim wooden shutters from my husband's grandmother's house that we used to build a bar in our basement, and we also used an old dresser we built into a wall for a TV nook... the possibilites are endless!

I love it that people have the foresight, imagination and creativity to see the beauty and function of recycled materials for furniture, accessories and art-- just to name a few.

Fantastic! :)
