I hope your businesses are going well.... I'm going to be on a big UK business website in a couple of days. I had to fill out a huge questionnaire and all my answers will be posted on it... I will attach the link if anyone is interested in silly old me ranting on about my Company.

Congratulations Chloe! I tried to remember back to what I was doing when I was 24. I would have never had the nerve at that age to start my own business. (Of course, that was light years ago!) You should be very proud!

Oh thank you so much, Luckily I have great people around me for support... I don't think I could have even tried if I hadn't had the encouragement from them.

My heart was always in designing.. I think I had the bravery to try because I love what I do..

Joing this forum has made me feel positive too.

Hi Chloe,

Business is slow right now, but I'm not too upset, life has been busy otherwise, I don't know what I'd do right now if business was booming too! :D I am, however, making a custom quilt for someone right now, so it's not completely dead :) and I have a few quilts that I am working on the quilting part and then will put them on my website for sale once they are complete. So, it's slow, but good.

So, you said at one time your business will be profiled in a couple of UK magazines, am I correct? Which ones and when? I'd love to get a hold of them!

Hi Molly

I know it goes like that sometimes.. It goes quiet for me when I am designing and then just when your least expecting it, you have lots of customers at once. I do like that side to my job.. you never know whats going to happen.

Yes we are actually in Homes and Gardens Magazine (one of the largest Interior Design Magazines in the UK) which is out tomorrow. I can't wait. A few customers have already seen it as I think they subscribed and received it early. I'm not sure if you get it in the US but I can scan it and put it on here if you like. I think it's a really small section on us and one of my tables but I'm still proud.

I'm not in the other mag until June....

I've been very lucky with press... I just put together some notes about what I do and the company itself and have had good feedback. I've had lots ignore me but I'm so happy with the ones that responded.

Ah thanks to you both.. It felt like a long wait for the issue to come out but I finally got to see it.

I have already put "As featured in.." on my website and envelope labels.... It does feel nice saying that..

Hi Cherie at the pet quarter.. Oh I love your website so much.. I am animal mad.. Are they your pets in the pictures or do you audition for pet modelling :D

Thank you very much, I can ship the smaller stuff to the US but the postage costs to there are ridiculous.. Most often it costs more money to send the item than the actual item itself. If you are interested in any of our small things I can look into it for you. Its such as shame it costs so much.. We have allot of interest from people in the US when we sell on eBay.

You website is designed really well, its really fun to look at.
