junk mail????

Have you ever heard of the National Gardening club? I got what I think is junk mail and you join for 1 dollar month and you get to test some pruners and a planting trowel if you join and they sent free poppy seeds and free osmocote in the enevelope. I never trust these offers, what do ya'll know?anything? Oh well free seeds and osmo.:p

I'll tell you what, I once was a member of the Gardening Club and while it wasn't such a bad thing they don't send you as much test stuff as they make out they do. I don't think those poppy seeds came up very well either. The magazine you get each month is pretty interesting reading but seeing as I'm so far North it really didn't do me much good. It is geared more towards your region far as I'm concerned.

I gave it a try for a year or so and just said I don't have time for the tests and keeping track of the paperwork til the end of the season and I'm just not getting very much of this, maybe in a few years I can devote more time to such things.
