Hey all,
There have been questions about what plant grows where...some of the places I look for answers are:
Bluestone Perennial catalog--they list sun and water needs for every plant they sell, as well as how they do in the North or South. Also whether a plant is invasive or reseeds itself (they're not consistent, I have gotten some surprises). They have a website.
Christopher Lloyd's Garden Flowers--he's an old English gardener, and quite the curmudgeon. He flat out tells you not to bother with certain plants, so the ones he recommends must be good!
Western Garden Book--the old standby.
Happy garden planning! It's snowing here again, so I'm just daydreaming about yardwork and flowers...
