Why not build a box frame and use them in the front and in the back. Put shelves within and would make a wonderful cabinet to sit on top of a table. I collect vintage tablecloths and just thinking about that gives me an idea. You could close the door but still see glimpes of the cloths stacked. I made a cabinet out of old windows from my house the same way and I stack white dishes in in. I have a cabinat I put my cloths in but I have to leave the door ajar so you can see them and it feels too staged for me. You could space the spindels about 2 inches apart. Oh heck now I wish I had some spindels...lol I want that idea for me..lol I can see it now. Let's see you would have to frame the spindels and them put hinges on the framed spindles and attach it to the box then add sturdy shelves. You could even add bun feet and sit it on the floor in a bath with towels! Oh my one last idea...you could have 4 spindles on each side make a square put a flat top and a flat bottom and it becomes a fern stand, you know the top and the bottom are wider...can you see it? Wish I had your spindles...lol:D

My first thought was using four of them to create an umbrella stand. Would look cute in the front entrance of a cottage next to a coat rack.

Hi Ann
I saw your post about the spindles... I asked Eizabeth... she's the true creative genius around here :). Anyways she suggested spindle Santas or spindle angels.
We did a quick google image search and found this.

Here's angel.

I suppose this is what we would do with 100 spindles... other than build a staircase... :)
Take care and good luck

Ann!
I just bought this for $39 at a boutique. While I was driving home, I thought of your request for spindle ideas. I think this is great!!! Whaddaya think?
P.S. as I was checking out, women all around me were ooohhing and ahhing over it. They also sell hearts, bird houses, different animal heads ~ all of which could replace the bunny head. They sell those for $29.00 each

I was thinking of something like this with the 4 corners being your spindles.
