One of my favorite sites for reproduction hardware and renovation supplies is Vandyke's Restorers. They're at http://www.vandykes.com Browsing the site is a bit like digging through an old hardware store.

Great idea for a forum ~ thanks for thinking of it! My favorite reproduction hardware store is Rejuvenation Hardware here in my hometown. One really unique feature on their web site is the Lighting Wizard. The wizard asks about the style period of your house, the room in which the lighting needs to go, the height of your ceilings and then it spits out the perfect lighting for your room. Very cool!
It's a neat store to visit if you're in the area. It smells like good coffee and good cooking, (nice restaurant in the store). It has a great book store and lots of reproduction and authentic antiques. They have a really nifty salvage department in the back of the store. Kind of on the spendy side, but if it's old/looks old and you need it... you will definitely find it there. http://www.rejuvenation.com/
Another great web site is http://www.crafthome.com/. I love their tiles!
Can't wait to see what other people submit. Shopping online is awesome for a mom of little ones.

I don't know if it has a web site and a quick search did not come up with one but if you are ever in Rockland Maine there is a store on Main Street called "Handle It!" and it has a wonderful assortment of handles. Great little store.

Hi ChrisNH53!
Did a little googling for Handle It, and found this site...
Mid-Coast Builders Alliance (http://www.midcoastbuilders.com/displayCompany.cfm?compID=3560#)
The Photo Gallery has a little problem right now, but once that's working again, we will be able to see a few photos...and the address & phone # are listed on the site, so we can always give them a call to see if they have that handle we're looking for!

Great Zuzu. I love poking in that shop when I am in Maine during the summer. Can't wait to get there if winter would ever end up here in New England!

They're a bit heavy on the tools, but they also have great reproduction hardware, wood products like shutters and furniture, knobs, trims and moldings.
