Hey all,

Which is your favorite winter ski lodges or resort? My current favorite is St.Moritz. what's the best time to go?
Any suggestions?

We just got back from Banff where we stayed at The Fairmont Springs. My cottage loving friends would really dig this place! It was originally built in the early 1900s but torn down and rebuilt in the 1920's. It's a replica of a Scottish castle. I took an historical tour of it which was very interesting... Loads of 1920's charm and BEEE-utiful views of the Canadian Rockies.

We live just 45 minutes away from Mt Hood which as Timberline Lodge. Timberline was built in the 1920's also I think... It's cool, but not grand in the way that the Fairmont is...
