I thought that it was a pretty good one. No monster houses that claim to be a cottage. Would have liked to see more about how the guy with the 967sf deals with limited space and more about the family from NO but all and all it was closer to what I would expect from a cottage magazine. I would like to point out to the gardening dept that there is a mountain region in this country, if you're going to go to the trouble of telling all the other regions what to plant in their window boxes it would be nice to clue us in on what to do.

Still think it would be nice if they had a how-to area but maybe they just don't have the staff for that. I nominate Frank from Trading Spaces or even Genevive. :D  I did go back and read the articles this time and actually enjoyed them not just read it because I've run out of things to read.;)

They used to in the beginning have before and afters by Stephen St. Onge that I loved. I miss those articles. He understood "Cottage".

yes, I think it's getting back to where it started. I'd love to see some makeovers of small bathrooms--the average bath from the 1950's, probably 5' x 8'. All the magazines think small baths are twice that size.
Keep the small homes and cottages coming....I love looking at them.
