 Hi Guys--I just bought some of those popular wrought iron stars at the Flea Market recently, in sizes ranging from 4" to 10". I can't wait to hang them, but I'm at a loss as to how. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

Those cast iron stars can be very heavy. I personally wouldn't try to hang them anywhere except at a wall stud. You can buy a piece of hardware called a hanger bolt that has a lag screw at one end and bolt threads on the other end. They are available at most hardware stores in many sizes. You could drill a pilot hole at a stud and screw the lag screw end into the wall and use a nut to bolt down the star at the other end. I'd paint the bolts and nuts to match the star, or leave them out in the rain to rust a little. ;) You'll have to measure the height of the star and buy the hanger bolt just a little over twice that height because the screw part must bury deep in the wall stud. Just my 2 cents worth.
