Interactive Windows

Have been perplexed as to how to treat my windows: bamboo, valance, curtains, etc. But after trying out several ideas from the interactive windows (home page), I came up with an idea without having to spend a penny nor many trips to the different stores. Imagining it and 'seeing' it are not always the same.

What a great idea the interactive window treatment is! Thank you.

P.S. I've decided to go with bamboo and a printed (striped) valance.

Thank you ptmanan, I'm so glad it helped. I'll be doing many more interative tools this years. I'm wide open to all reader suggestions for future tools. I was thinking about a lamp tool where you could play with different lamp base and shade combinations.

Lamps and shade would have really helped as I just bought three new shades to see which would look good on the 'old' lamps. It would have saved me an extra trip to the store!

I did purchase striped valances - and even my husband was pleased with the overall look. With the plain walls, and printed furniture, the stripes added just enough color and pattern without distracting from what was already there. Now we're waiting on the bamboo shades.
