Give your private message another try. There is a word limit and image limit on private messaging, just in case you tried to send a very large message.

where do I go to check my private messages?

In the top bar labeled Quicklink. Pull down to the Private messages link.

I'm having trouble posting pictures. The size is right. I've done this before. I'm getting a message that says something about a "temporary problem and an email has been sent to the technical department". Can I do anything different?
