What about using each pane as a frame for vintage/reproduction artwork:
botanicals, Victorian ladies, etc.:) The whole window with all the artwork would make quite a statement. And,, you could send a couple to me!:D

My neighbor did a neat thing with a paned window. She had this ugly box in her backyard that houses her pool equipment and she hung her window pane there. She painted flowers in each of the panes to give it interest. Now you don't realize its this unsightly pool stuff its a beautiful flower bed. Hey maybe you just invested in a new business venture!

thanks......i never thought of putting pictures in them.... i could probably manage that.... and then glitter then another pale paper, or even lace from old tablecloths behind the pictures..........im having fun now learning modpodge...wonder if that would work?....or some spray adhesive..???

just actually make them into collages....
we have done mirrors and a re ordering enough mirror to make 6..
..i bought something once where a silk flower was glued onto the window pane in a real silery opaque manner.... with glittrer words ...it was besautiful...have no idea how to do it tho...

Yes you can modge podge onto glass, just remember to start from the front and work backwards so the background would be the last thing you do .

I would make a greenhouse or gardeners shed with them or glass in a porch. If you had the 3 over 1 version I'd tell you to send me a few of them. Other than that I'd contact an architectural salvage place and sell them to them. I can tell you from experience that purists and homeowners trying to take their home back to close to when it was buit look for things like that all the time. The fact you have 75 of them tells me it came from one house and all would be the same size or at least there would be a good number the same size.

What a cool find! Good luck with whatever you try.

This is a little late, but just in case you still have some windows lurking around, you can make them into tables by adding 4 stock legs & then painting to match :) ...

Also, if you tack wire or ribbon across each pane, add some hanging hardware, you make a Note/Mail/Miscellaneous Holder...

I have been looking through this forum and wow, it's cool! Very informative and it seems "warm". I was just thinking about this window discussion. A friend of mine did a thing that my daughter and I tried and just love. You can use it with the windows or without. You can take the window and attach it above a door like a shelf, then put chain or some other material to hold the outer end. It makes a really neat extra space to display stuff above the door, if your ceilings are high enough. We have some pip berries on ours. This time of year, white lights shining through would be great. If the windows are missing you could use it as a hanging thing for stuff to hang from. Hope this sounds like something you can picture. Karen
