In the article featuring Carolyn Malone's Atlanta home (premiere Sept/Oct. issue), the moss green paint in the kitchen has been "antiqued" using a wax/paste used for floors. That was the extent of the description in the Go to the Source. I have searched for something like this in Lowe's and Home Depot. The only thing I could find was Johnson's floor wax which has no color and the "paint experts" in both places just looked perplexed when I described the effect. Can anyone help me with a product name and possible source?

I wonder if this is some new technique for copying the effect of Venetian plaster? Check out this link (just for the technique since I assume you don't want to stencil.)

Thank you, Ginger. At least this gives me a jumping off point. Has anyone ever used wall wax and what were your impressions of the results?

If you contact a local janitor supply house you will find a good selection of floor wax in colors :)
